These terms apply to your use of this website and to any order you place with Paw Deck Australia. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them before you buy.
Orders
When you place an order you're making an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation, not when you check out.
We may decline or cancel an order — for example if the item is out of stock, there's a pricing or description error, we can't deliver to your address, or we suspect the order is fraudulent. If we cancel after you've paid, you'll get a full refund.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Prices can change at any time, but changes won't affect orders we've already accepted.
Payment is taken at checkout. Charges appear on your statement as PAW DECK AU. If you don't recognise a charge, please get in touch before contacting your bank — we can almost always resolve it faster.
Delivery
Delivery timeframes on our Shipping page are estimates provided by our carriers, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. You're responsible for giving us a correct delivery address; parcels returned to us due to an incorrect address may be re-sent at your cost.
Returns and consumer guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Our 30-day return policy is in addition to those rights, not a replacement for them. Full details are on our Returns page.
Product use and safety
Our seat protector is an accessory designed to protect your vehicle's upholstery and provide a stable surface for your dog. It is not a crash-tested restraint and has not been certified to any vehicle safety standard.
Please fit it according to the instructions, check it's secure before each trip, and don't use it in a way that obstructs your view, interferes with seatbelts or airbags, or breaches road rules in your state. You're responsible for how your pet travels in your vehicle.
Fit and measurements
We list the product's dimensions so you can check them against your vehicle. It fits most cars, SUVs and utes, but not all. Please measure before ordering. If it doesn't fit, our 30-day return policy applies.
Website content
We try to keep product descriptions, images and pricing accurate, but we don't warrant that everything on this site is error-free or current. Colours may vary slightly between screens, and measurements may vary a little due to manual measurement. All content, branding and images on this site belong to us or are used with permission, and may not be copied without our written consent.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited, at our option, to replacing the product, supplying an equivalent, or refunding the price you paid.
Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of that state, without limiting your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
